We are inviting applications for the position of Hospital and Distribution Sales Account Manager

Promed is expanding its presence in the hospital sector, initially through the sale of examination gloves and hand hygiene products and subsequently through sales of small equipment items.

In a separate development Promed will be acting as a distributor for Ethicon sutures in Ireland.

These developments have created the need for a field based Hospital Account Manager who will develop business with hospitals and distributors on the island of Ireland.

We are inviting applications for the full time position of a

Hospital and Distribution Sales Account Manager

You will be reporting to the Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing and developing allocated accounts to achieve sales targets.
2. Building long term commercial relationships with hospital clinical and purchasing representatives.
3. Providing training and educational support to hospitals (i.e. gloves and hand hygiene products.
4. Preparing and implementing distributor development plans.
5. Representing Promed at trade shows.

Qualifications:
1. Excellent selling and account management skills ideally with experience in the healthcare sector.
2. Experience of managing and developing distributors.
3. Proven success in delivering sales growth.
4. Good negotiation skills.
5. Ability to work with clinical and administrative staff in the hospitals.
6. Good product presentation and demonstration / training skills.
7. Ability to work on own initiative whilst in the field and as part of the larger Promed team.

As the position involves a large amount of travel across the country a company car will be provided; however, it is expected that the successful candidate will need to stay away from home to fulfil the role.

Who should attend?
This hands-on interactive workshop has been created especially for Primary Care professionals. It is suitable as an introduction for new practice nurses and also as a refresher course for GPs and experienced practice nurses.

What will the course cover?

This workshop covers
•    Patient preparation
•    Placement of monitoring electrodes
•    Limb leads and chest leads
•    The normal 12 lead ECG
•    An introduction to ECG Analysis and Interpretation

Why attend / What will be the benefits to you?
After this workshop all attendees should understand the principles of electrocardiography and its value as an assessment tool as well as being equipped with the skills and knowledge to accurately record a 12 lead ECG.

Where is the course?
The Radisson Blu Hotel, Athlone, Co Westmeath. Places are limited to 20 per workshop. Tea / coffee breaks and a light lunch are provided. Cost €120.00 Discounts are available for Promed customers, please contact your account manager for details on freephone 1800 619 619.

Who is the Presenter?
The workshop will be presented by Charles Bloe BSc (Edin) RN NDN ITU cert. Since graduating in 1984 Charles has spent his clinical career in a number of senior nursing positions in critical care settings, predominantly cardiac care. He is currently Chief Executive Officer and Clinical Lead for Charles Bloe Training Ltd, providing onsite and online clinical training to healthcare professionals. He currently combines this role with his post as Clinical Ward Manager for Cardiac Care at NHS Highland.

An Bord Altranais has granted Category 1 approval (valid for one year) for this course.
